The making of a Balloon Princess

on

When Piper received a balloon twisting kit at the age of 7, she discovered a love for making inflatable creations. Soon she had a room full of flowers and animals. Then she made numerous wands, wings, hats, and crowns for friends and family members young and old.

Piper facilitated her first balloon twisting workshop at Art in the Park in 2010. It was here that the warmth and unique style of her “balloon court” initially began to shine, demonstrating her natural ability to connect with her audience. Since then, she has been fortunate to have been mentored by and twisted alongside Saskatoon’s Best Balloon Twister, Warren Johnson of Balloon Funn.

From swords to snakes and flowers to fairy wings, Piper’s squeaky squishy bendy twisty balloon skills have been featured at numerous festivals and events in Saskatoon.
